‘Call the police and I will stab her’: Schoolgirl taunted during daylight sex attack in Ringwood

A 58-year-old virgin who raped a teen as she walked home from school told her she deserved what she got and taunted her throughout the ordeal.
Christopher Bahen, now 59, spent his days before the vile attack filming schoolgirls as they walked home past his Ringwood house, zooming in on their legs and skirts.
A map marking the local high school, Bahen’s home and the spot where he eventually raped his 17-year-old victim was later found at his home.
Bahen, a former factory worker and cleaner, had been drinking up to 16 litres of wine a week and watched schoolgirl porn regularly before the September attack last year.
On the day of the attack chilling CCTV footage from a nearby property showed Bahen chased his victim armed with a knife.
He tackled her to the ground, threatened to kill her and raped her at knifepoint in the brutal and brazen broad daylight attack.
During the terrifying assault Bahen verbally degraded his victim, calling her a “whore” and “c***”.
Several people witnessed the assault before Bahen fled.

“If you leave here and call the police, I will stab her ... I will kill her,” Bahen told one witness.
It didn’t take long for police to track him down, following a trail of blood he had inadvertently left from a cut finger that took police to his front door.
He initially denied the attack, but later admitted it but said he couldn’t remember it happening.
Witnesses later told police they had seen him filming girls in the weeks before the attack.
In a victim impact statement read to the County Court today his 17-year-old victim said she had been left mentally tortured by the assault.
“I felt like my life was going to end,” she said.
“I didn’t believe what was happening. I was terrified. I was afraid for my life. (I) seriously thought I was going to die.”
Bahen, who was supported in court by a sister, pleaded guilty to a single count of rape at the earliest opportunity.
The court heard he had never had sex, never had an intimate relationship, and lived with his parents until his mum died in 2005.
“I got very drunk. I’m ashamed of what I did. I know it was very bad,” he later said.
“I attacked a young woman. Its illegal ... abhorrent.
“I deserve to be (in prison). You can’t do what I did and expect to get off scot free.”
Judge Mark Gamble said there was no doubt Bahen would spend “years” in prison for the vile assault.
The plea hearing continues.
