A 'pleasure' to play with Keane, says dos Santos

The former Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur foward was full of praise for his new captain after the pair worked well together
Los Angeles Galaxy new boy Giovani dos Santos has revealed his admiration for Robbie Keane after linking up well with the striker on his debut.
The Mexico international provided an assist for Keane's 11th MLS goal before the Galaxy captain returned the favour as Bruce Arena's men secured a 3-1 home victory over Seattle Sounders.
"Robbie Keane is a great teammate," said the former Barcelona and Tottenham forward after the game.
"I am very thankful for the assist and he has always shown me his affection and I am very thankful. It is always a pleasure to play next to him."
Keane also had words of praise for dos Santos, suggesting that the new signing's debut contribution was more than enough.
"When you score a goal and he got that assist as well, what more do you want from him?" said the 35-year-old. "He’s not 100 per cent fit, he’s probably 80 with the conditions as well.
"Gio got his goal, not an easy finish, it was a good finish."
LA Galaxy return to action next week when they take on FC Dallas
