The 31-year-old goalkeeper will definitely stay at
the San Siro club, his representative insists, while Roma's Morgan de
Sanctis will also stay put
Samir Handanovic has reached an agreement with Inter over a contract extension, his agent has revealed. The goalkeeper, whose current deal expires in June 2016, has attracted a lot of interest from other clubs this season, with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United said to be interested.
The 31-year-old's agent, Federico Pastorello, however, insists there is no chance of him leaving the San Siro outfit this summer.
"Handanovic will remain at Inter, 100 per cent," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "There is an agreement in principle for him to sign a renewal, which will be made formal in the next few weeks."
Pastorello also represents Roma goalkeeper Morgan de Sanctis, who will not move either, despite interest from elsewhere.
"De Sanctis has received many offers," he added. "But the player was always going to stay at Roma."
De Sanctis, 38, also has a contract that expires in June 2016.
