The Monaco defender's agent insisted a €30 million
deal had been struck between the two sides, but the Rossoneri director
says the move is impossible
The 25-year-old has attracted a lot of interest thanks to his fine performances in the Champions League last term, and the defender's representative told Shams FM that a €30 million deal had been struck with Milan.
However, Gandini has insisted there is no way the Rossoneri will land the Tunisia international this summer because they cannot fit any more non-European Union players into their team following the acquisition of Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano.
"We have already signed two non EC players, Bacca and Luiz Adriano who took the two spots we have for this season," the Milan director tweeted.
Abdennour signed permanently for Monaco in July 2014 after originally joining on loan six months earlier and is contracted to the club until July 2019.
