Fekir, Lopes & Tolisso all sign new Lyon deals

Three key youngsters have committed themselves to the Stade Gerland side, who hope Alexandre Lacazette will follow
Lyon have confirmed that they have tied Nabil Fekir, Anthony Lopes and Corentin Tolisso down on fresh deals that expire in 2020.
All three players were key figures as Hubert Fournier’s side shocked Ligue 1 by pushing Paris Saint-Germain for the title until the closing weeks of the campaign.
Fekir, a 21-year-old forward player, was named Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year as he accrued 13 goals and nine assists. Such was the level of his performance, Arsenal had been associated with the player, who made his France debut in March, having controversially turned down the opportunity to play for Algeria.
Meanwhile, Lopes, a 24-year-old Portugal international, was one of France’s outstanding goalkeepers last term as he played every minute of league football for OL.
Tolisso, 20, was also an ever present, scoring seven goals as he featured in a wide variety of positions, though most commonly in the midfield.
Lyon will hope that the commitment of these three youth academy products will inspire Alexandre Lacazette to sign a new deal, with negotiations ongoing as they try to secure the long-term future of last season’s top scorer in France.
"We will meet Lacazette, [Samuel] Umtiti and [Jordan] Ferri when they return from training camp. We want to confirm last season's team and add our recruits to it," president Jean-Michel Aulas told the media.
Like the trio who have already put pen to paper, these three youngsters all came through the club's youth academy, too.
