Would Ibrahimovic add little to this Milan?

The Croatian thinks that a return to San Siro would be counterproductive for both the Swede and the Rossoneri, who he feels have bought well so far

Former AC Milan ace Zvonimir Boban has advised the club against re-signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, claiming they are already well stocked up front following the arrivals Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano.
The Serie A side have long been tipped to make a move for their Ibrahimovic - who represented the Rossoneri between 2010 to 2012 before moving on to Ligue 1 - as they look to reinforce new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic's squad.
However, Boban, who currently works as a pundit for Sky Sport Italia, believes that bringing the Swede back to San Siro will only hold back summer signings Bacca and Adriano.
"At this point, Ibrahimovic has nothing to add," the Croatian told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Bacca already plays as centre-forward. I believe a move would neither be positive for Ibrahimovic nor Milan.
"He costs a lot and risks obstructing Bacca's integration. He [Bacca] is a great buy who is a complete striker and has good experience. Luiz Adriano is a centre-forward too but has good movement and knows where the goal is.
"With him and Bacca, Milan can play in a 4-4-2."
Despite praising the recent buys, however, Boban maintained it was still too early to predict how the fallen Rossoneri would perform next season, arguing that more must be done to improve their defence to match the market of neighbours Inter.
"It's too early to say [how they'll perform]," he continued. "Much will depend on how they start the championship. The first matches will be very indicative, but right now I think Inter have built a better squad.
"[Andrea] Bertolacci is a good buy for midfield, but we need to see if he's of the level to add an extra dimension to the team. For instance, when Juventus signed Andrea Pirlo, he controlled the game.
"[Mattia] De Sciglio must play on the right [of defence]. The left has suffered a heavy decline, and on top of a new left-back, Milan need to invest in two top quality centre-backs."
Milan finished 10th last season, with their poor Serie A showing resulting in the dismissal of Filippo Inzaghi as coach.
